"Customer" or "You" or "Your" means any person, individual, entity, or organization who avails of Our services, including but not limited to natural persons, companies, partnerships, societies, trusts, government entities, and their authorized representatives.
"Services" means laundry services, dry cleaning services, shoe cleaning services, pickup and delivery services, and any other ancillary services provided by Laundrify as described on Our website, mobile application, or as agreed in writing.
"Garments" or "Items" or "Articles" means clothes, textiles, shoes, bags, household items, and any other materials entrusted to Us for cleaning, processing, or related services.
"Platform" means Our website (www.laundrify.co.in), mobile application, telephone booking system, or any other medium through which Our services are offered or accessed.
"Charges" or "Fees" means the service charges, delivery charges, express charges, and any other fees payable by the Customer for Our services as displayed on Our Platform or communicated to You.
"Force Majeure Event" means any event beyond the reasonable control of either party, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, government actions, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, lockouts, transportation disruptions, or any other unforeseeable circumstances.
"Consumer Protection Act" means the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and any amendments, modifications, or re-enactments thereof.
"Applicable Law" means all applicable laws, rules, regulations, guidelines, notifications, and statutory requirements in force in India from time to time.
1.2 Interpretation
1.2.1 Words importing the singular shall include the plural and vice versa.
1.2.2 References to any statute or statutory provision include any subordinate legislation made under it and any modification, re-enactment, or extension thereof.
1.2.3 Headings are for convenience only and shall not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
2. ACCEPTANCE AND SCOPE OF AGREEMENT
2.1 Agreement Formation
2.1.1 These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between You and Laundrify upon:

Your first use of Our services;

Booking services through Our Platform;

Handing over Items to Our collection personnel; or

Making payment for Our services.
2.1.2 By availing Our services, You acknowledge that You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, Our Privacy Policy, and any other policies referenced herein.
2.1.3 If You do not agree with any part of these Terms, You must immediately discontinue using Our services.
2.2 Capacity and Authority
2.2.1 You represent and warrant that:

You are at least 18 years of age or have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement;

You have the authority to bind any entity on whose behalf You are acting;

You own or have proper authorization to hand over the Items for Our services;

All information provided by You is accurate, current, and complete.
2.3 Modifications
2.3.1 We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
2.3.2 Modified terms shall be effective immediately upon posting on Our Platform.
2.3.3 Your continued use of Our services after any such modification constitutes Your acceptance of the modified terms.
2.3.4 It is Your responsibility to regularly review these Terms for any changes.
3. SERVICE DESCRIPTION AND BOOKING
3.1 Services Offered
3.1.1 Laundrify provides the following services:

Wash & Iron: Regular washing and ironing of garments

Dry Cleaning: Professional dry cleaning for delicate and special fabrics

Shoe Cleaning: Specialized cleaning for footwear

Express Service: Expedited processing for urgent requirements

Pickup and Delivery: Collection and return of Items at Your specified address

Commercial Laundry: Bulk services for businesses, hotels, and institutions
3.1.2 Service availability may vary based on location, capacity, and operational constraints.
3.2 Booking Process
3.2.1 Online Booking: You may book services through Our website or mobile application by:

Creating an account or booking as a guest

Selecting service type and pickup/delivery preferences

Providing accurate address and contact information
-
Choosing payment method
3.2.2 Telephone Booking: You may call Our customer service at [PHONE NUMBER] during business hours to book services.
3.2.3 Walk-in Service: You may visit Our facility during operating hours for direct service.
3.3 Booking Confirmation
3.3.1 All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation from Our side.
3.3.2 We reserve the right to decline any booking at Our sole discretion.
3.3.3 Confirmation will be communicated via SMS, email, or phone call.
3.4 Cancellation Policy
3.4.1 Customer Cancellation:

Bookings can be cancelled up to 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time without charges

Cancellations within 2 hours of pickup time may attract a cancellation fee of ₹50

No cancellation is permitted once Items are collected
3.4.2 Company Cancellation:

We may cancel bookings due to operational constraints, force majeure events, or safety concerns

Full refund will be provided for Company-initiated cancellations

We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the service
4. PICKUP AND DELIVERY
4.1 Pickup Service
4.1.1 Timing: Pickups are available between 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, subject to area coverage and operational hours.
4.1.2 Same-Day Pickup: Available for orders placed before 3:00 PM, subject to availability.
4.1.3 Address Requirements:

Complete and accurate address with landmark details

Working contact number for coordination

Accessible location during pickup hours
4.1.4 Customer Responsibilities:

Be available at the specified address during the pickup window

Provide clear instructions for accessing the premises

Ensure Items are ready for collection

Check and verify the pickup receipt before our personnel leaves
4.1.5 Failed Pickup: If pickup cannot be completed due to Customer unavailability or incorrect address, a re-pickup fee of ₹100 may be charged.
4.2 Delivery Service
4.2.1 Standard Delivery: 24-48 hours from pickup (excluding Sundays and public holidays)
4.2.2 Express Delivery: Same day or next day delivery available at additional charges
4.2.3 Delivery Windows:

Morning: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Afternoon: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Evening: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
4.2.4 Delivery Confirmation:

SMS/email notification when Items are out for delivery

Real-time tracking where available

Delivery confirmation receipt
4.2.5 Failed Delivery:

If delivery cannot be completed, Items will be returned to Our facility

Re-delivery fee of ₹100 may be charged for subsequent delivery attempts

Items must be collected within 30 days of failed delivery
4.3 Address Change
4.3.1 Delivery address can be changed up to 2 hours before scheduled delivery
4.3.2 Address change within the same area: No additional charges
4.3.3 Address change to different area: Additional delivery charges may apply
5. PRICING AND PAYMENT
5.1 Service Charges
5.1.1 Pricing Structure:

Per piece pricing as displayed on Our Platform

Minimum order value: ₹200 per collection

Express service charges: Additional 50% of base price

Delivery charges: As applicable based on location
5.1.2 Price Determination:

Items are counted and priced at the time of pickup

Customer will receive an itemized bill via SMS/email

Prices are subject to change without prior notice
5.1.3 Special Items:

Items requiring special care may attract additional charges

Designer/luxury items: Additional handling charges may apply

Heavily soiled items: Surcharge of 25-50% may be levied
5.2 Payment Terms
5.2.1 Payment Methods:

Cash on Delivery (COD)

Online payment through UPI, cards, net banking

Digital wallets as supported on Our Platform
5.2.2 Payment Timing:

Payment is required at the time of delivery for COD orders

Online payments can be made at booking or delivery

No Items will be released without full payment
5.2.3 GST and Taxes:

All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise

GST will be charged as per applicable rates under GST laws

Tax invoice will be provided upon request
5.3 Refunds and Adjustments
5.3.1 Refund Policy:

Refunds will be processed only in cases of service failure or damage caused by Our negligence

Processing time: 5-7 business days from approval

Refunds will be made through the original payment method
5.3.2 Price Disputes:

Any pricing disputes must be raised within 24 hours of receiving the bill

Adjustments will be made only for genuine errors in billing
6. ITEM HANDLING AND CARE
6.1 Item Acceptance
6.1.1 Acceptable Items:

Regular clothing and garments

Household textiles (curtains, bed sheets, etc.)

Footwear suitable for cleaning

Bags and accessories (subject to material compatibility)
6.1.2 Non-Acceptable Items:

Items with infectious diseases or contamination

Damaged items beyond economical repair

Items containing valuables, money, or important documents

Hazardous materials or chemicals

Items with strong odors or stains that may affect other garments

Leather items (unless specifically agreed)

Items without proper care labels
6.2 Item Inspection
6.2.1 Pre-Processing Inspection:

All Items are inspected before processing

Existing damages, stains, or defects are noted

Customer will be informed of any pre-existing issues
6.2.2 Special Care Items:

Items requiring special attention will be processed separately
-
Additional charges may apply for special care processing
-
Customer consent will be obtained for high-value items
6.3 Care Labels and Instructions
6.3.1 We process Items according to manufacturer care labels and industry best practices
6.3.2 Items without care labels are processed at Customer's risk
6.3.3 Special instructions from Customer will be followed subject to technical feasibility
6.3.4 We reserve the right to refuse processing if care instructions are unclear or conflicting
7. LIABILITY AND LIMITATIONS
7.1 Limitation of Liability
7.1.1 Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any single Item shall not exceed ten (10) times the service charge for that Item or the depreciated value of the Item as determined by industry standards, whichever is lower.
7.1.2 Aggregate Liability: Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from a single service order shall not exceed ₹50,000 or the total service charges paid for that order, whichever is lower.
7.1.3 Exclusions: We shall not be liable for:

Consequential Damages: Loss of profits, business interruption, or indirect damages

Sentimental Value: Emotional distress or sentimental value of Items
-
Pre-existing Conditions: Damage, wear, or defects existing before service
-
Normal Wear: Reasonable wear and tear from normal processing

Third-Party Actions: Acts or omissions of third parties
-
Force Majeure Events: Circumstances beyond Our reasonable control
7.2 Customer Responsibilities
7.2.1 Item Preparation:

Remove all valuables, documents, and personal items from pockets
-
Inform Us about special care requirements or stains
-
Provide accurate information about Item value and fabric type
7.2.2 Risk Assumption: Customer assumes risk for:
-
Items without care labels or with unclear instructions
-
Items with pre-existing damage or excessive wear
-
Items of extraordinary value not declared at time of service
-
Items left beyond the collection period
7.3 Claim Procedures
7.3.1 Notification Requirements:

All claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery
-
Claims must be made in writing with photographic evidence where applicable
-
Failed to report within 24 hours waives the right to claim
7.3.2 Investigation Process:

We will investigate all claims fairly and promptly
-
Customer must provide reasonable cooperation in investigation
-
Our decision on claims shall be final and binding
7.3.3 Resolution:

Genuine claims will be settled through re-cleaning, replacement, or compensation

Compensation will be limited as per clause 7.1

Resolution timeline: 7-14 business days from claim acceptance
8. QUALITY ASSURANCE AND WARRANTIES
8.1 Service Standards
8.1.1 Quality Commitment:

Professional cleaning using industry-standard processes

Use of eco-friendly detergents and chemicals where possible

Trained personnel handling all Items
-
Quality control checks before delivery
8.1.2 Processing Standards:

Items processed according to care labels and best practices
-
Separate processing for different fabric types and colors
-
Stain removal attempted using appropriate methods
-
Pressing and finishing as per Item requirements
8.2 Warranties and Guarantees
8.2.1 Service Warranty: We warrant that services will be performed in a professional manner using industry-standard practices.
8.2.2 Re-cleaning Guarantee: If You are not satisfied with cleaning quality, We will re-clean the Item free of charge if reported within 24 hours.
8.2.3 Stain Removal: While We make best efforts to remove stains, We do not guarantee complete removal of all stains, especially:

Set-in or old stains

Stains from unknown substances
-
Stains that may damage fabric if treated aggressively
-
Paint, ink, or chemical stains
8.3 Exclusions from Warranty
8.3.1 Warranties do not cover:

Normal shrinkage within industry tolerance (up to 3%)

Color changes due to fabric instability

Damage from defective materials or poor construction

Items cleaned contrary to Our recommendations
9. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
9.1 Information Collection

9.4.3 Anonymized data may be retained for business analytics and improvement
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
10.1 Laundrify Property
10.1.1 All intellectual property rights in Our Platform, brand, logos, trademarks, service marks, and content belong to Laundrify or Our licensors.
10.1.2 You may not use, reproduce, or distribute Our intellectual property without prior written consent.
10.2 Customer Content
10.2.1 You retain ownership of any content You provide to Us
10.2.2 By providing content, You grant Us a non-exclusive license to use it for service provision and improvement
10.2.3 You warrant that You have the right to provide such content
11. FORCE MAJEURE
11.1 Definition
11.1.1 Force Majeure Events include but are not limited to:

Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, cyclones, fires)

Epidemics, pandemics, or health emergencies
-
Government actions, regulations, or restrictions
-
War, terrorism, or civil unrest
-
Strikes, lockouts, or labor disputes
-
Infrastructure failures or transportation disruptions

Any other circumstances beyond Our reasonable control
11.2 Effect of Force Majeure
11.2.1 Performance Excuse: Neither party shall be liable for failure or delay in performance due to Force Majeure Events.
11.2.2 Notification: The affected party must notify the other party promptly upon becoming aware of the Force Majeure Event.
11.2.3 Mitigation: Both parties shall use reasonable efforts to mitigate the effects of Force Majeure Events.
11.3 Extended Force Majeure
11.3.1 If Force Majeure continues for more than 30 days, either party may terminate the affected service with written notice.
11.3.2 Upon such termination, We will refund any prepaid amounts for undelivered services.
12. TERMINATION
12.1 Termination by Customer
12.1.1 You may terminate Our services at any time by:

Providing written notice

Settling all outstanding dues

Collecting all pending Items
12.2 Termination by Company
12.2.1 We may terminate services immediately without notice if:

You breach these Terms and fail to remedy within 7 days of notice

You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities

You repeatedly violate Our policies

Your account becomes inactive for more than 12 months
12.3 Effect of Termination
12.3.1 Upon termination:

All outstanding amounts become immediately due

Items must be collected within 15 days

Uncollected Items may be disposed of at Customer's cost

Data retention will be as per Our Privacy Policy
13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
13.1 Informal Resolution
13.1.1 We encourage resolving disputes through direct communication with Our customer service team.
13.1.2 Most issues can be resolved through Our grievance redressal mechanism.
13.2 Consumer Forums
13.2.1 As a consumer service provider, disputes may be resolved through:

13.2.2 Consumer protection laws shall apply as per the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13.3.2 Process: Arbitration shall be conducted under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 2015:

15. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS

15.1.1 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
15.1.2 Invalid provisions shall be replaced with valid provisions having similar economic effect.
15.2 Waiver
15.2.1 No waiver of any provision or right shall be deemed a waiver of any other provision or right.
15.2.2 Waiver must be in writing and signed by the waiving party.
15.3 Assignment
15.3.1 You may not assign or transfer Your rights under these Terms without Our written consent.
15.3.2 We may assign Our rights and obligations to any affiliate or successor entity.
15.4 Entire Agreement
15.4.1 These Terms, together with Our Privacy Policy and any specific service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
15.4.2 These Terms supersede all prior communications, representations, or agreements.
15.5 Survival
15.5.1 Provisions relating to liability limitations, intellectual property, confidentiality, and dispute resolution shall survive termination.

16.1.1 You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
16.1.2 You agree to be bound by all provisions of these Terms.
16.1.3 You have the legal capacity and authority to enter into this agreement.
16.1.4 You understand the limitations of liability and warranty disclaimers.
16.1.5 You consent to the collection and use of Your personal information as described in Our Privacy Policy.
